Snowpiercer is a 2013 science fiction thriller film based on the French graphic novel “Le Transperceneige” by Jacques Lob, Benjamin Legrand and Jean-Marc Rochette. The film is directed by Bong Joon-ho, and written by Bong and Kelly Masterson.
The BOOM Library was commissioned to produce a library of train recordings for the film Snowpiercer, starring Tilda Swinton, Chris Evans, Jamie Bell and John Hurt.
The film takes place in a perpetually moving train, which is why an extensive amount of train sounds were needed. Check out some of them in the trailer above.
